Introduction to Deep Plane/Deep Neck Facelift
In this module, participants will learn about the relevant anatomy of the facial and cervical regions, focusing on the structures that are essential for the Facelifting procedure. Indications and contraindications for the use of the technique will be addressed, helping professionals to identify the ideal patients for surgery. In addition, the basic principles of the deep plane technique will be discussed, including its advantages and limitations.
Deep Plane Facelift Technique
Here, we will explore the specific surgical approach of Deep Plane Facelift. Students will be instructed on the correct positions for incisions and the dissection techniques required to access and mobilize facial tissues. The course also covers in detail how to effectively reposition these tissues to ensure natural, long-lasting results, as well as fixation methods to stabilize the changes.
Complications and Management
Participants will learn how to prevent and treat potential complications associated with facelift and rhinoplasty surgeries. This segment includes the analysis of clinical cases, providing a practical view of how to manage adverse situations and ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Introduction to Exorhinoplasty
This section of the course introduces the fundamental concepts of exorhinoplasty, beginning with an in-depth study of the relevant nasal anatomy. Participants will understand the indications and contraindications for this type of surgery, learning how to select appropriate cases and avoid potential risks.
Exorhinoplasty Technique
Students will be guided through the surgical steps for exorhinoplasty, including incision techniques and methods of accessing the nasal septum. Techniques for repositioning and remodeling nasal tissues will be discussed, with a focus on achieving harmonious aesthetic and functional results.
Practical Session on Fresh Corpse
The practice on a fresh cadaver provides a crucial practical experience to consolidate theoretical knowledge.
Facelifting Deep Plane/Deep Neck: Participants will practice marking incisions, initial dissection and tissue mobilization. They will also learn how to reposition these tissues safely and efficiently, as well as perform fixation and final suturing, always paying attention to post-operative care.
Exorhinoplasty: In this practice, students will perform incisions and accesses to the nasal septum, applying remodeling and cartilage repositioning techniques.
